Hey legend!
Â
Let me know if there were any issues downloading it and I’ll send another one over.
I got curious about what percentage of the population actually bother to review their year just gone before setting goals for the year ahead, so I asked my buddy Chat GPT.
I got quite a vague answer but the estimate was that around 30-40% of people sit down to reflect on their last year.
A survey by Statistica in 2021 said that only about 40% of people set New Year’s resolutions - I bet most of them set vague resolutions about getting fitter and eating better. Fun fact: I worked in a gym from the age of 16 for around 6 years while I was at school and uni, and January is by far the busiest time of year for new members… who generally fall off the wagon again a month later.
The thing is, people set very vague, non-specific goals with very little in the way of small, bite sized action steps to help them actually achieve their goals.
That’s another reason I created this tool, so I could actually get clear on what I wanted and set specific goals and action steps so that I could intentionally create my year ahead.Â
At the end of 2026, I’ll use the same process to reflect on whether I achieved those goals or not - I’m very action oriented so I usually smash my goals pretty well!
I’d love to hear how you found using the tool - and tell me what your goals are so I can be your cheerleader on the sidelines!
Have fun with it and let me know if you have any questions 🙂
Catcha on the flip side,
