Terms and Conditions - Reiki treatments
Phoenix Transformation (Carly Evans) is a reputable trader and follows the directives of Australian Consumer Laws. By interacting with our website, undertaking a course, attending a class or retreat with me you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. REIKI/ENERGY TREATMENTS
Reiki is a powerful tool for healing and transforming the mind and body, but does not take the place of professional medical care. Carly Evans will never diagnose or advise in any medical capacity. If you are concerned about your health, always consult your physician or qualified healthcare provider.
2. REIKI WORKSHOPS
Phoenix Transformation teach Reiki and Advanced Healing Techniques in public and private classes, and occasionally run collaborative sessions with other practitioners such as sound healers and yin yoga teachers. If you are just beginning a practice and have any pre-existing medical conditions I do recommend that you consult with your doctor or qualified healthcare provider before starting a program with me.
Energy treatments are generally conducted laying on a massage table if in person, or via video call with you laying or sitting down in your own space. If you have physical ailments or mental health concerns, always consult with your doctor or qualified healthcare provider before starting a new practice. The position you lay in can be adjusted to suit your needs and your comfort.
As a client, you understand and agree that you are fully responsible for your physical, mental and emotional wellbeing during your energy treatments, including my choices and decisions.
You understand that energy work is not to be used as a substitute for professional advice by legal, medical, financial, business, spiritual or other qualified professionals. You will seek independent professional guidance for legal, medical, financial, business, spiritual or other matters. You understand that all decisions in these areas are exclusively yours and you acknowledge that your decisions and your actions regarding them are your sole responsibility.
You understand that energy work does not involve the diagnosis or treatment of mental disorders. You understand that energy work is not a substitute for counselling, psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, mental health care or substance abuse treatment and you will not use it in place of any form of diagnosis, treatment or therapy.
You declare that if you are currently in therapy or otherwise under the care of a mental health professional, that you have consulted with the mental health care provider.
3. CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
Failure to arrive at your session within 10 minutes of your scheduled time will forfeit your session.
If absolutely necessary, you can reschedule your own appointments within the portal; however you must provide 24 hours notice. Failure to provide 24 hours notice will result in a forfeited session.
4. CONFIDENTIALITY
Carly Evans acknowledges that she may obtain confidential personal and/or business information from Client and agrees to keep and maintain such information confidential and not to disclose or use such information without Client’s prior written consent. Client understands that Carly is allowed to share wins, client results and other information on her website or social media and will not disclose names or personal information unless consented to in writing.
5. WAIVER
Client acknowledges and agrees that in the course of the services Carly Evans may ask Client questions which may be personal, challenging or disturbing. Client has chosen to undergo energy work with or without the written consent of their current health professional. Client waives and releases any claims arising or resulting from Carly’s questions, actions or services except for Carly’s breach of their obligations mentioned above. This waiver does not apply to conduct or actions outside the scope of the energy treatment services.
